I am still new at this but am trying to figure it all out.

I am not sure where to start.. There are so many!

I am hoping to find things that will help me.

I feel lost at times and am not sure where to turn. My friends mean well but they dont have what I am trying find. They seem to think that our marriage is just like theirs. They seem to take the side of my spouse. No matter what the issue may be. I have stopped turning to them for advise and hope to find some new friends here that can give rational advise. Thanks for letting me just ramble on.

Hi WBC,

Weekends are slow on the board. It's almost 5pm west coast time, and it's pretty quiet.

Spend the weekend reading everything here you can. Go to the articles, read them all. Read basic concepts. Do a search on some key words that my apply to your situation. Get used to the abreviations (WH = wayward husband A=affair ONS=one night stand MC=marriage councelor IC=individual councelor etc.)

Then...post a question, with as much background as you can (they always comeback and ask for more background). Include length of marriage, how many times each of you has been married, # of kids, and specific details of troubles. The 'In Recovery' and 'Emotional Needs' boards get a lot of traffic, try to post there.

You may have to wait till Monday to get much response.

There are a lot of good people here. Good luck - Dru

Hi WildBlueCats

Welcome to MB!!!

</font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote:</font><hr /><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial"> I am not sure where to start.. There are so many!
</font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">How about telling us your story?? Is this A (affair) related? or just married problems?

If you can, try to read all the concepts here, because most of the advice you are going to receive is related to that (not always).

If you came here for good advice, because your friends are not good enough, you came to the right place, there are tons of wise people here and willing to help.

Weekends are slow but not dead so post away! and you will receive answers.

Take care
