When our son was in the depths of his addiction I often found help and strength in Alanon. (Alanon is a 12 step support group for family of addicts. It is only loosely affiliated with AA.) When our son came home late, told us to *%*%%* off!, and otherwise made our life a living hell, I would go to an Alanon meeting. It was a life and sanity saver.
I could use a similar group now.

I went to alanon during my exh's affairs because there wasn't such a group... he had past drug related issues and figured this was also an addiction (exh had more than one A).
It would be great to have a group like alanon!

We try here w/ SFBayAreaMBer get together b/c of lack of any org. ... we have a good turn out and many couldn't wait to meet <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" /> . We try it once a month ... we are going to our 3rd gathering.
