DG:

I 2nd whippit's 2uestion.

Go over 2 the "pregnancy/child" forum and read the stories there. Many have managed 2 make some kind of visitation/support arrangements with a FORMER OP with an OC. You can 2, but you MUST establish an environment of complete honesty for it 2 work.

Do you have HMO insurance? I have Kaiser, and though their counseling isn't the best in the world, it isn't bad for 10 bucks a visit. If you don't have insurance coverage for counseling, consider going 2 your church, the YMCA, anything for advice. But even "expensive" counseling, if it's effective, is cheap compared 2 divorce. The Harleys are expensive, but extremely effective and efficient, and authored the MB methods you are learning so much about by being here. I recommend them highly.

Their publications are excellent, 2. And a lot of the material is on the home page in the articles about infidelity. If you haven't read there, or even if you have, I would urge you 2 go there first. I have read one other book about surviving an A, by Michelle Weiner-Davis, "Divorce Remedy". It's a good one. I haven't read "Torn Asunder" by Dave Carder, but it's been highly recommended here as well. Another highly recommended author is the late Shirley Glass. Her book "Not Just Friends" gets recommended a lot here. I haven't read it, except in excerpts, but I'm considering adding it 2 my collection.

Best,
-2long
