We are going through a lot of material and have been for a long time, much of it is in print. We've played around with reading together, whatever that means. Had some limited success. What is the best way to read and then discuss together? I am an avid reader he is not and struggles with retaining much.
I feel reading books together is one of the best ways to get an intimate discussion going on our thoughts and feelings without it being one sided but have not found a really comfortable way to do this.
Suggestions??

try,
read a chapter at a time and then discuss together. Most books also have a workbook to accompany them also. If a chapter is too much then just break it down into more manageable chunks.
Reading aloud to each other and discussing points as they come up is good too.
God Bless
