This started with a thread started by someone else, on JFO. I thought I would share this tid-bit of info. It may help anyone who believes/knows that thier S is having an A. For those mysteriouse phone #'s on the bills, call-id etc... that your S claims ignorance on, here's how you find out. Before you go pay a PI to get the info for you, try it for free. Go to www.google.com, it's a search engine. In the search window, instead of typing any keywords, type in the mystery phone#, including area code. It will give you the name the # is listed under, and a map to that person's house. It is not guarenteed to be accurate, as I believe the d-base is only updated once or twice a year. My own phone # (fairly new) shows up as some finance co. It did work for me (how I found where OM#3 lived). Also, if it's an unlisted #, it won't show up with any results. Do NOT do this (or any snooping for that matter) unless you are really prepared for the answers you might get. And remember my disclaimer about the accurracy of the info. It's just a suggestion before hiring a P.I..

But most cell phone bills are itemized, showing each number called or received.

What do you do about phone calls that just show "incoming" because they are unlisted or private designated somehow? How can you find out what number the call is from, or can you?

There are sites other then google that have this "reverse look-up" feature. Some also tell you quite a bit about someone, where you could then take that info to find out more, etc.

you will not be able to find unlisted/unpublished phone numbers this was ... and being unlisted is not the same as being unpublished. YOu pay extra $$$ for both.

I have noticed something interesting lately from Verizon Wireless. A year agow eh my W was using her cell for OM talk. His number was clearly listed. Just recently Verizon has stopped identifying the numbers of all incoming calls. I called and asked why the change no explanation was given. So bottom line is that if my FWW started the A today I would not have ever noticed the calls and would probably still be in the dark!!

www.anywho.com will also allow you to do a reverse lookup on a phone #.

It is called summerized bill, you want detail billing. I don't know if they charge you extra for that. I have AT&T and I have online access to my account ... I am pretty sure you Verizon has it also.

Based on my own experience, you should not trust W. I would get the access even you are not monitoring it. BTW you have all of her info plus the account#, this is not phone#. You could create an account and view the bill.
