I'm still trying 2 figure out when or whether I'll be in the bay area week after next.

We're having a rough week. Our house was burglarized over the weekend - 2nd time after the fire - and my W's laptop was stolen. Other things, 2, that I don't want 2 talk about here.

Week is starting out pretty poorly. This "recovery nonsense" IS worse than discovery.

Hi Still, Pepper!

I'm doing better 2day, but I've got some growing 2 do still (sorry SS <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" /> ). I no longer believe I've "earned" a DV yet (thanks CSue!). Maybe I never will. Maybe the ONLY right thing 2 do here is slog right smack on through this stuff and come out the other side.

I'll check out UN's thread. I saw it before. I have a little time this afternoon, then we're off until Sa2rday 2 see my fam. ...was saddened that our grocer (that you probably know about) did NOT have that new Jone's Soda Company "Turkey and Gravy" flavor soda made specially for the holidays! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" /> ...so I bought me some Chili Beer instead (complete with floating chilis!) They also had a party keg of root beer, so we bought one. That's for the extended family. I'm the only beer guy in the family.

Gosh, SS, I didn't even think of a party for 4000! Where was my head? Sure, you want 2 nuke some 2b steaks, that'd be copacetic with me. I used 2 make dogs where you slice them down the middle, put a quarter stick of string cheese in there, nuke the works, and put fresh salsa on top! A 2long specialty! Pe-Te's cajun BBQ sauce works okay, 2, but better for cattleburgers and boudin sandwiches!

JL, if you're reading between now and next week, I've made my reservations for that meeting. I arrive Monday afternoon, and am staying through Thursday afternoon. We can do road cokes at the poster sessions, or go out any of Mon, Tues, Weds night. Any other Bay Arears around then?

Cool, I just need to remember when my poster is. Always go for a "free" one or two at the posters, unless I am giving mine, in which case I might need some more "truth serum".
