Is anyone out there doing telephone counseling through marriage builers? It seems like a great idea and the fees are about the same as I have been quoted around here...

Hey
I have had individual and couples marriage counseling with a local counselor here in my town. Then I spoke to Steve Harley in several sessions soon after my H left. I got more insight and direction from Steve in one session than I got from 6-9 months of couples marital counseling with the local counselor. The MB counseling is more expensive than local, but definitely worth the investment. I only wish we had contacted MB before H moved out. He did talk to Steve once (which I paid for) and admitted he was impressed too, but not enough to work on our marriage. Too far into the fog at that point, I think. Good luck!

Crushed-

I counseled with Jennifer Chalmers for quite some time last winter during my W's A. I agree that the MB counseling is expensive but because they are so good I would recommend it to anyone.

For a time I also counseled with Penny Tupy www.saveyourmarriage.com she is instructed in the MB concepts and W and I found her very helpful during the begining of our recovery.

I have never counseled with Steve Harley but I have met him and he seems very nice and considerate. Everything I have heard about him has been wonderful.

Does you H understand the MB concepts?

I have ordered the books and we will both be reading them. I am seriously considering the telephone counseling. We just might give it a try. Thanks to those who replied.

I'm sure that Barnes and Noble is very happy that my husband had an affair. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />
