I know many of you helped a great deal on writing a plan B letter to my wife. I have not given it to her. I am seriously TORN. I fear that now is not the right time. Just 2 weeks ago I LB'd big time, well, not too badly. I told her that her ways were hurting everyone who loved her and that if she was in some horrible accident and she died the same people who she's turned her back on will be the one's burying her and the man she is with now would be no where to be found. She listened to everything I said on the phone, but did manage to say once again that she does not want to be with me (that hurt).

She called me yesterday and asked if she could ride with me and the children to my son's Xmas program. I said "sure" all pleasantly. She also told the children she will be spending the night at home Xmas eve and Xmas day with them.

Now I know this is a PRIME time for a PBL. But on the other hand, I'm thinking that I can use this time to show her how loving I can really be; sort of a Plan A period. Knowing her I think that this may soften her a little bit and make her think. After the holidays I can send the plan B letter and after being so sweet and accomodating to her through this month it may be more effective. What do you think? I just fear that if I hit her with a PBL right now, she will feel badly about herself (I know she already does) and just go into seclusion, even if the A ends with him.

There HAS to be the right moves to get her out of the fog. I know it has been said that there is nothing we can do to snap them out, and from what I can tell so far, there is nothing. If children crying asking her to come home didn't do it, I don't know what will. But I feel there must be something. No?

solon,

Doesn't sound like an LB to me. Just because she doesn't like the reality, doesn't mean you LB'd

I am in no way an expert in the plan B realm but this seems to me like an excellant time. Let her miss seeing the kid's faces on christmas morning. sounds like this a perfect opportunity for a reality check.
