Well as the old year comes to an end...and the new one is around the corner...
the time is at hand for us to re-visit and for some to learn a new language...

It is always a good idea to learn new things....

So for those of you who are alreadly multi-lingual...congratualations
and for those that are interested in a new way of talking...

I give you...

REVERSE BABBLE 101...with honor and pleasure...and much gratitude to those that have mastered it and are willing to share....

to Orchid the reverse babble queen on whom the crown looks lovely as always...

to pepperband who can reverse babble AND, batt her eyes and throw in a lovely hair toss...

and all you other babblers...(that's a word I invented...babblers...)
and you know who you are...
take a bow...

Thanks for the Reverse Babble reference.

Does it work on BSs, too? (kind of kidding, but I think they can be in a 'fog', too, at times!)

Enjoyed reading about it!

My dear Ark,

You resurrected the RB post! Thanks for remembering me. Awe.... no crown, I keep thinking about those old margarine commercials about the crown that would always appear when someone took a bite of margarine .

As for being the MB RB queen, well let's do the USA version.... I much rather have a nice tennis bracelet and a lifetime giftcard to Starbucks!

In reality Ark, I know you certainly grace us with your wisdom and wit a lot in the past that has helped many (way too much to count) and my wish is that your abilties continue to bless those of us in need here on MB. Mahalo.

To Pepper with the long brown hair? (just guessing at the color) , I bow at your beauty and wit. Never lose it girly.

To H_P, yep this stuff does work on anyone who acts stupid. Children, co-workers, bill collectors, spouses, pets, x-spouses, neighbors, even customers..... lol!!!! Just do it sparingly and with care. Remember the objective. Bringing them back to sanity. Use it wisely and it will bring results. Depending on how dumb the receiver is, that may take a while. Practice in the mirror to perfect the technique.

take care,
L.

I also should point out reverse babble in actions....can be really fun...

many years ago Mr. Ark would sometimes fall asleep on the couch watching TV....and there would be nothing but static on the TV later in the night...

So one evening I come in the TV room...put on some UHF station that is all static and white snow....and sit all snuggly with him...and he ofcourse says...

what's this?
too which I answer...honey it's your favorite show you watch at night...I thought we could watch it together...

Mr. Ark has not slept on the couch for years....

and who was it that did reverse babble in action with dinner and things...

cooking half a meal and when questioned why stating...
well I thought the OW was going to cook you the other half of your dinner...
and here is your laundry...it's only half clean...I thought she was doing half of it also..
batt eyes and toss hair here.....

I think good answers to the old I'm not in love with you anymore....
are things like ...
"isn't that amazing I was just thinking how I no longer love mint chocolate chip icecream? I like it...but I don't love it anymore.....isn't that funny dear?....great minds think a like..."
