In March of this year I came home from out of town unexpectedly and found my husband having sex with another woman at our home. I felt that he had been having an affair since the past October and had even confronted him about it and of course he denied it. He blamed the affair on the fact that our teenager had been driving us crazy and that he and I no longer communicated. We had been disagreeing about whether or not we were going to move closer to my place of employment. He ended the affair and decided he wanted to work on the marriage and we reached a decision to move. Things seemed to be going fine until 3 weeks ago when I once again came home early from a business trip to find him, a married male friend, and another woman at one of our places. He claims she was with the other married friend but what bothers me is that he shouldn't have been in the position at all. He says he wants to be married but I have to get over what happened or just get a divorce. He says he will go to counseling for me. The problem I have is that I believe he is only going for me and doesn't realize that there is a very big problem. If he is going to appease me will the counseling help. This entire thing baffles me because he says that I am the only person he has every loved but if he loves me what doesn't he consider me. The really scary thing to me is after this last incident I am not even sad; just numb. Any comments or suggestions out there. The

How very sad for you. Let me reassure you that counseling WILL help him in the long run, even if he goes for the wrong reason at first. Hopefully the c. can help him see that he's choosing a lifestyle not appropriate for marriage. I know your devastation, I've been there. And having it happen in YOUR house is so much worse. Get into counseling, take care of yourself, keep posting and remember prayers really help! Good luck.
