Hey all, I haven't posted in a million years, computer use is a love buster at my house, but I had some private time today so I thought I'd check in. Some of you may remember me, my husband fell off a building in 2000, and when he came off life support he let me know about the affair that he had said ended but really didn't. We are working on things still, I don't really feel like we have had a chance to really get past some things because of the injury, we are so busy with rehab and therapy and learning about brain injury and seizures it is hard to concentrate on the mundane... what's for dinner, are you still calling her? One of these days I know we will be back to somewhat normal, but for now I still have moments of resentment and I wonder why I am taking care of a man who showed so little respect for me. I think sometimes that the bimbette should be the one cleaning up after he wets the bed, but then I remember for better or worse, and our two children. Deep breath, remember what is really important, and keep plugging along.

Dear Justthewife:
Picking up the pieces...that how I looked at it...WH got involved with OW...perhaps sampled a few drugs and did a lot of drinking with OW...ended up having a stroke and major heart surgery. What happened to OW...well she disappeared for about two years...by then WH is well again and she appears again...how his health is not so good again (wonder if that is a coincidence) and she is complaining about how he never wants to do anything fun...just wants to be sick all the time (and she claims she is much sicker then he is).
So much for fair-weather friends. ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/frown.gif)
But life didn't give me options...I'm in for the long haul...good or bad.
Faye

It takes a special strength and commitment to be there when things go to hell.
I signed on "for better or for worse" and that's the deal for me.
It's that simple; it's that complex.
JTW, I don't know your story except what I just read in this post, but I admire your strength and commitment.
Take care
E
