my, cough, cough, lying ultra-narcissistic partner who swears to god she'll never lie to me again but i'd rather be safe than sorry just broke the screen on her iphone and is going to get a new one. at that point, i assume she'll wipe her old phone clean and throw it in a drawer. here are my questions:
1/ i don't know her password, so i assume once the phone is shut down i still won't be able get able to get into it. correct?
1b/ i am hoping to see if i can glance sideways at her while she's entering her password in the next few days and catch a few letters at a time which will hopefully add up to the entire thing and get me in. i can't think of any other way.
2/ if i can get in, is there a program that'll get me texts and whatnot even if they have been deleted? dr. fone is the one i've read about. think that'll work?
3/ i assume once the new phone is activated, the old phone will be deactivated and i won't have to worry about alerts being sent out as i try to get inside it and see what's there. correct?
4/ i know she'll use a different password for her new phone. i'm hoping i can see what it is by the side-ways glance method.
5/ any pitfalls to what i'd like to do or do you have any further thoiughts?

The only thing I can help with is the Dr.fone.
It kind of worked for me.
I used the free version first and only got parts of messages, lots with out dates, doubles, messages on the wrong numbers, scrambled up etc.
And the free version won't let you save them.
But it did prove to me that the affair I expected was going on despite the lies I was being told.

So I then bought the package for about $80 and loaded them again, hoping to get the completes and save them, I didn't get anymore than what I got the first time but was able to save them to read over and piece some together. I could them save them in an excel spreadsheet and sort by date etc.
Dr.fone when hooked up to the iphone does require you to accept the connection from the phone so you will need the password to get into the phone. HOpe this helps you a bit.

If she uses the same number she will get the alerts. Most people just pop the sim out of the old phone and put it into the new one.

If you are worried about notifications, try the software on your own phone first. Keep testing till you get exactly what you need and then install.

Most people use the same password again and again. If this is a four digit password, those are really easy to guess. It will be the same one as she uses in other places.

I got the goods on my WXH through backups. They can be a gold mine.

Do you also have/use a VAR and/or GPS tracker?
