I was just thinking about things that happened to me over the past year, and I remembered some things in a different perspective, kind of like a 20/20 hindsight sort of thing.
A co worker of my H's recently got re married. Shortly afterward, my H told me that he and some of the other workers were concerned about her and what she was doing. She had begun carpooling with another single male co worker. They took her car, and at first she drove, but as time went on, he was the one driving. They began going out to lunch together, and once when he got the flu, she took some of her own personal days off to go to his apartment and take care of him. H says that once he was driving behind them and it bothered him that she had her hand on his head rest and was stroking the back of his neck.
When my H would tell me about her, it was with an uh oh sort of tone, like she was inviting trouble, it wasn't fair to her husband, etc. At that time he said she was playing with fire, and felt sorry for her H.
Now come forward to soon after my H met the spork. His attitude changed, he started being calmer about what she was doing, even saying that they weren't doing anything except being friends and helping each other out. That the Bible says we should care about each other.
He also said that he'd never be the one to tell her to be careful, because frankly her life was none of his business, and live and let live. He even said her husband should be proud and happy that he has such a caring, loving, and compassionate wife.
I asked him the other day if those two were still carrying on, and he said that other guy was transferred to another section, so he didn't know. But now he feels sorry for the H again.
This ever happen to anyone else?
