Even before I confronted her about talking to this guy -- she had begun having her phone with her ALL the time.
How do I snoop when I can't get access to her phone? I desperately want to bust this up so we have a shot at healing -- but I can't!

I'm not sure I can since our finances are completely together. She would notice immediately.
Also here is the other side to this: The guy lives in the northeast -- about 17 hours drive and 8 states away. So there isn't much a PI can do on the ground here to see what's going on is there?

Get creative in your problem solving. Don't let joint finances stop you from doing what you need to do.
I took out a credit card in just my name to finance snooping.
I also purchased a prepaid Visa at walmart so that the only charge that showed up on our bank account was "Walmart."
There's options. Your marriage is worth figuring this out.
Contact a PI and talk to him.
