It's been along time..there was no infidelity in our marriage. we had hit a rough patch and found ourselves here..and then found you all...

I dont remember his name here..it was basketball something..
Anyway I wanted to fill you in...

My sweet big guy was diagnosed with stage 4 terminal cancer a little over 2 years ago...it was a very hard, brutal battle for him...we did every thing we could to buy him time with our kids...sadly, he passed on Easter...such a huge loss...I became his caregiver and loved every single moment with him..
He passed at home, holding my hand....

I miss him so so much..even though we had 2 years to just be together, I still feel like I didn't get full closure ..I think I figured out why...we planned his funeral together..we got nothing of what we planned due to covid...I'm having a celebration of life for him this summer...
We talked so much...we just enjoyed life when he was able...chemo is an awful thing to go thru at stage 4..you're just hoping to buy time..sometimes, that time is so miserable...he had colorectal with mets to his liver and eventually his lungs...
He went to every single sport event our kids had..he wanted to be here so bad for them...our daughter just graduated high school..he almost made it...our son just got his driver's license..he wanted to be there...so close...
I visit his grave site often, keeping it tidy until his headstone is delivered...I go a few days now without crying...the kids and I are moving to town..Trents wish...so I'm buying a home while selling ours...
It'll be 10 weeks Sunday...still hard to believe.
