Two years later. After about a year of individual counseling for both of us, we've now been in marriage counseling together for about a year. Two years clean on the purity front. The marriage for me has gone from miserable to tolerable. I was ready to live my life in miserable, so tolerable is a huge step up. My wife seems happier with it than I am. She still does not have interest in pursuing the marriagebuilders principles the way I'd like. There are worse things in life than being married to a good friend, but I'd like something a lot more. She is content with the status quo.
