I woke up in the middle of the night and he was gone. Maybe I heard the car because he walked in a few minutes later, crept actually.
Asked him where he'd been, he said he went to visit a friend, at 4:00am I said? He replied his friend was up at the all night gym.
I asked him how stupid did he think I was, just give me the truth, blah blah blah. I refused his offer of a ride to work, I also made a few judgements about his character and left for work. I told him it was over.
Now a beautiful basket of flowers has arrived at work, and I don't know what to do.
His "ex" OW has a new boyfriend now, and I am sure he drove by her house to see if her new BF was there, he's going through withdrawal. In a strange way I am glad he is now experiencing some of the same pain I have felt, when someone you love loves another [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
My Question? Do I call and thank him for the flowers? Ignore them? I have been trying to do Plan A, but feel like I am about to lose it "15 minutes before the miracle happens" and someone posted here once.
Thanks, jt

that's a hard one. Of course the rule's of Plan A would be to thank him. You could take that route of thanking him, but let him know that you are not stupid and you do not believe his words of an ALL NIGHT GYM! PLEEEEZZE! They can be foolishly creative, can't they!
