Last night I was over there. She seemed down. I asked what was wrong. She said she was just tired. ( i kniw somthing is on her mind) Her house was a mess( not like her).
I told her if there was anything I could do to help. She said could you give the kids a bath. I said yes. First time I gave the baby a bath(I loved it).
I started playing with my oldest boy( we wrestle WWF). She got frustated with his yelling. I asked what was wrong? She rubbed her hands on her face and said" I cant do this by myself any more". I said I'm here for you. SHe said "But you are not here".
This is not my choice, but she is confused. I said nothing.
What do yall think??? I have to go to bed for now. I will reply tomorrow after work.

Thanks very much
------------------
brownphdt

Hi brownphdt,
this sounds so positive. The way you offered to help, and asked first, she responded to that. I'm glad you loved bathing the baby - I'm sure that would have meant a lot to her.
Maybe continue taking it slowly, but keep depositing those love units. It sounds as though it is working, that maybe she is seeing the NEW you.
Hope it continues being good for you.
Jo

Sounds as though she needs lots more attention right now, maybe a break from the kids. I would offer to take her out for a break, gives you time alone with her and a break. Don't use that time to pressure, make sure she relaxes and takes time for herself! Get the sitter for her so she doesn't even have to worry about that.
Then start some major deposits in the love bank! God Bless!
------------------
Chick's
Bren
You won't see things until your ready to not be blind!

I just wanted to respond to you.... This is a major opportunity. Not only for yourself but your family. Sieze it now, but do not be overbearing. She evidently realizes how much work being alone can be. I only can suggest that you let her continue to realize how important you are to her. Are you in plan A? If so, do not lovebust at all. I have been there done that.. I am in the process of trying to write my whole story, but have only a 9600 baud modem, so I tend to get kicked off the web allot, and am forced to to retype from the beginning. I will be following your progress. Kendall
brownphd,
I loved the way Empty Shell said it - the cracks are beginning to show. Yes, I agree.
ONE CAUTION: You still have to proceed SLOWLY. If you push or come on too strong right now, she will probably start to retract again. Slow and steady with kindnesses. Good that you didn't say anything. I learned the hard way about PURSUING TOO MUCH! Let her come to you when she is ready. She KNOWS you want her back. When she is ready, she will reach out to you.
Way to go......YOU are doing much better!!!!
Roll Me Away [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]

hello brown, i have not been following your story, please forgive me. But as a mom, I find it extremely important how my h interacts with the kids. How much he is willing to do with and for them. The actions add to my love bank like no thers (almost!)
Great idea someone had to take her out, give her and you a break together. Or maybe go over, play with the kids, bathe them and put them to bed for her? Help her with the housework? Pour her a glass of wine. No pressure, go slow.
Any/All would have been real pleasers in my book when my kids were younger.
