I am new here and I thought I might let some of you know about a website that I found. It is http://www.inlawhaters.com
I know that most of us don't really "hate" our inlaws, but we don't get along very well. Me and my husband have been married since March and the most arguments that we have are over our inlaws! His parents drive me nuts! We have argued so many times that I can't take it anymore. So I was looking around on the web and found this website. It was awesome! There weren't many posts, but from what I saw that was the place to be if you have inlaw problems. It was really cool! You have to check it out!
Erin

I have been looking for a site like this also.
I have been married to a mama's boy since March 31st of this year. My m-i-l thinks she has gained me as a daughter and can tell me who, what, where, and when. I am a 30 year old woman who has practically raised myself, thank you.
It got so bad about two months into the marriage that I told my husband to leave and not to come back until he got a back bone. The m-i-l holds FOG = fear, obligation, & guilt over his head. She was once hospitalized and told him that it was his fault because he moved out of the house and left her alone. He was 26 at the time and his father and sister still lived at home with her.
Here it is August 13, 2001 and I have my husband back. He has learned how to handle his mother and to protect me from her controlling ways. We are reading the book, Emotional Blackmail, together. It's helping one day at a time.
