I'm just wanting some feedback on what some cons are of premarital counseling. If you can post anything, opinion or not that would be great. And any actual sources would be great too.
Thanks!

I wasn't aware that there were any CONS to premarital counselling.
Unless of course the people involved are not really ready for marriage. Or they don't have or won't make time for it.
Seems to me, there are a variety of outcomes - some positive and others negative (which may not be expected) but all in all, it seems best to have some kind of preparation for 'the rest of your life together'.

I think a con could be the person who is doing the premarital counseling, particularly if they have a bias. For example, my H and I had premarital counseling (albeit long distance - we were apart about 5-6 months before we married) from my pastor. I distinctly remember sharing with him my concern that my then-fiance (now H) and I did not have many common interests. My pastor indicated he and his wife also did not have many similar interests but that did not get in the way of their relationship. He gave one example: that she liked reading a lot but he didn't. In hindsight, I think that he glossed that over and lack of common interests should be a red flag to a premarital counselor. BTW, this former pastor of mine and his wife are now divorced.
Em
