Somehow my fiancee has the notion that I dont' love her unconditionally. I have never displayed anything that would make her think so, she's had trust issues, and also this unconditional thing for a while now and we're supposed to get married in 2 months. I've been trying to just show to her that I'm there no matter what. But yesterday I said something sarcastic that I didn't really realize until after I said it. She has not been feeling well lately and I just want her to get better, have suggested going to the Dr. and so on, but I said that her feeling unwell was really putting a damper on our relationship. This put the nail in the coffin for her, she said that that just validated the fact that I don't love her unconditionally and that I only want the good times. We've been together for almost 2 years and I've never done anything to make her distrust me, or shown that I would take off at the first sign of bad weather. What can I do? what are some thoughts from some of you out there that have been through this. I love her to death and would be there no matter what forever, and what really bothers me is that I KNOW this in my own heart, but she can't see it. It's like someone telling you that you're wrong when you KNOW you're right, and it kills you to hear someone tell you that because deep down you know the truth.

what to do...

Remembering that love has far more to do with action than emotion, this may be the best time to show her that you truly do love her.

Begin by not giving up. Don't smother her, just be there for her. Let her know that you care by the things you do for her and the way you treat her.
