I have been married for a year and a half but only living together for 6 months because of the military. I am finding that I really don't know my husband and I'm not sure that I like him. We had been friends for 10 years 5 of which he was in the Army. We don't get along and we have no idea how to meet eachothers needs. I'm beginging to wonder if we made a mistake. Any help here would be great.

navlin,

I can understand the trials of being a military wife. Is he home now or deployed? Don't let the hype about homecoming fool you. It's HARD to learn to live with someone again after living alone for a long period. Have the two of you discussed your problems? Are you dating each other when he is home? Do you have children? I just have so many questions. I'll try to check back in on this thread soon to see if there's anything I can do, even if it's just sympathy and moral support. If you haven't read His Needs, Her Needs this may be a good thing for you to try.

Dobie
(Navy wife for six years, he's lived with us for two.)
