I'm hoping to get some advice about my situation, sorry it's a long one

A year ago my husband returned home from a shopping trip and I immediately knew that something was not right. After a long discussion he informed me he had been texting a woman he had known since school days and had met her for the first time that day. I asked him to stop seeing her which he said he didn't know if he could do, so I asked him to leave which he did. I went through months of pain, hurt and disbelief. We were happy had just had our third child and he was a fantastic father, husband, person! I didn't deal with the seperation well and would become really angry when he visited to the point that we arranged for him to pick up he children from my mother's. The hurt and pain continued and I eventually started getting my life back together.

A few weeks ago my parents went away and he had to pick up the children from my home, we were very civil to each other and agreed to try again with him coming to the house to pick up the children. This went well and things have been great.

Then last night I was upset about something unrelated and he gave me a hug, we just hugged for ages. We then started talking and he said he missed me, thought about me all the time, missed the children, his life, reminded me about lots of little routines we used to have.

What do I do?? He did not ask to come back. Although I don't know what I would say, Yes I love him and want him back but I'm happy. How do I deal with this do, we planned to take the children out on Wednesday and I'm confused as to what to do. Do I bring it up (he's not the greates conversationalist)

Please help and advice would be greatly appreciated

Kaxxy

I'm assuming you are still married. Are you legally separated? I would say that he has had a year to reflect on his mistakes, and I hope you have sought change in your attitudes also. You were both guilty of not fulfilling EN's. Are you truly happy living the life of a single mother? Don't know your kids ages but are they truly happy without dad in the house? Are you willing to accept him back and forgive him? Are you willing to put the past behind you? Are you open to facing issues in an honest, open way and build reconciliation? Your answers to these questions will determine your course of action. We are here to encourage you. God bless!
