I have been with my fiance for a little over a year now, and during this time he has given me no inclination that he would even consider cheating. And yet, always in the back of my mind is a dull roar of jealousy. It's really gotten bad, to the point where it consumes me. I looked for passages in the bible, but I found none really relevant to my jealousy issues. I wish I didn't have these feelings. I accuse him and always have a watchful and jealous eye and ear out for the slightest hint at adultery. I know this hurts him and our relationship. I've prayed for answers and happened apon this site. He and I are saving ourselves for marriage, me for religious reasons, and he for partially religious reasons, we are due to be wed in March and I just want my jealousy to go away. Does anyone have some advice for a fellow christain couple?

I'm not what you would call "christain" and unfortunately I'm not a "couple" right now(against my will)

However, the first thing that came to my mind when reading your post is that you may be afraid that he won't be able to wait and save himself for marriage with you. Has he given you any indication of this?

Is this a first or second marriage for you and your fiance? Are there any valid reasons for your fear? Has he betrayed someone before? Have you been betrayed? Does he "gawk" at women or make comments?
