My girlfreind of 4 years came home from work yesterday to tell me that she had felt up the chest of her work partner(man)
She is always feeling up mine cos i'm a gym junky and my chest is nice.

Is this acceptable behavour?
Is this comparable to me feeling up my work partners bum(female)because she works out and it is firm?(I have never done this by the way)

In couple of weeks I was going to ask my girlfriend to marrry me ...but now i'm not so sure.
Should I confront her on this issue, because I know she will get angry at me and just say that its harmless.
I know she likes to flirt alot but I feel this has crossed the line somewhat.

Confused,
Trev

Hi bigtrev...welcome to MB.
I cannot tell you what your gf's intentions were...you're going to have to ask her. This is obviously important to you and not something that is going to disappear...especially if you do not address it. The trick is to confront her without causing more problems and the best way to do that is to avoid LBs...lovebusters. Read all you can about the concepts on this site.
If you gf tends to get defensive, your approach is especially crucial.
Make sure you get EVERYTHING out on the table before you marry and definitely do not propose to someone with whom you cannot feel comfortable speaking your feelings and concerns to. That does not mean she is no the one for you...but you have yet to discover that if you are still having trouble communicating with her (not being open about your feelings because of her negative, angry reactions).

These forums tend to be slower on the weekends...also, this particular forum does not get much traffic. You'll get better response come Monday and you might want to consider reposting (just copy and paste the text) into the Emotional Needs forum. For now, start reading as much as you can on this site.

Take care!

bigtrev,

It sounds to me like she openly admitted this to you. If she was the one who brought it up, then she probably has nothing to hide about it.

Was she just comparing this guy to you and did he coax her into doing this as a comparison due to her bragging about you ?

Being that it is a concern of yours, it is important that you clear it up with her. Make sure you listen to Smile's advice, be carefull how you aproach the subject because you don't want to start trouble for the wrong reasons.
