Try charting your cycle using natural family planning. There's lots to learn about cycles and hormones. You can learn if each phase of your cycle is the "right" length to support a pregnancy, and when you are most fertile.

Couple to Couple League (a Catholic organization teaching nfp) also has a book (by Marilyn Shannon) that shares simple fertility things most doctor's don't know (example: some women's cycles are affected by too much light at night).

A doctor would probably give you clomid, which increases the chance of multiple implantations.

BTW, you won't get many replies on THIS board; it's for people experiencing a child conceived OUTSIDE the marriage~!

Good luck!

Kik, I can help you with this. I've been there done that and have twin girls to show for it. I think someone else on the board went throug it too.
First of all, who were you tested by? Your ob or a Fertiltiy specilist? How old are you? I'm not sure if you or your h has had an affair, but have you both been tested for for std, and other things that you would need to be treated for? My next question is a personal one and you don't have to answer it, but can answer to yourself if you want. Do you have normal periods? The reason is there is something out there called pcos. It can be treated, but never goes away. What happens when you ovulate you only drop the eggs in your ovaries and then they eventually turn into like pearl of beads. They drop all the way down as they are suppose too. The stats indicate that 10% of all infertitlte couples are unexplained. Have they done an Ultra Sound on your ovaries?

We tried for one year and a half without success ... Dr told me I had PCOS ... look up in the web for symptoms ... My Dr didn't even did an U/S since not everyone necessarily have cysts ... I tried Glucophage/Metformin (which is for diabetics ) and two months/two cycles later I got pregnant ... but as NTMO said - it will never go away ...
Good luck!

I was tested by my OB/GYN, have been on clomid for 4 months, had a DYE test done to check for blockage in my tubes and that was fine. I have had internal ultra sounds done... periods are usually normal, except for last month skipped?? At one point they thought maybe i was going through early menopaus... mind you I am only 31 yrs old and my husband is 26 and has been tested as well for low sperm counts and such.. all his stuff is fine, we were told we could go to a fertility specialist and get some help but it is like $200.00 a visit and so I was just looking for some answers from people who have had similiar problems?
