I printed out the post I wrote titled 'Pink Roses' and all the responses with it. I gave it to my husband this morning and he said he would read it later at work. And after the heated talk and some crying we were talking about feelings and as he was ready to fall asleep H said to me, "You know that thing you wrote about the roses and those responses?"
I said, "Yes, did you read it?" He said he did and reading what those people said made him cry. Thank you!!!! You don't realize what all of you have done. You managed to touch a heart that has been hiding behind a wall of stone. My H has a heart he is just afraid to feel it. He holds back, he closes off and blocks out anything and anyone who can or may hurt him. No one can really love that way. And that's what I have been working on for years now. I have told him about this site more than once and he seems interested in checking it out. I hope he does because he will see how positive the adivce is. It is the only support I have right now,
maybe he will join us and it may help him to come out of from behind that wall for good.
I hope your husband does come to the site. I know it has hwlped me and I am pretty sure it is helping my husband. Sometimes we hear things we don't want to. My husband really didn't like hearing all the respones that told him he really needed to break all contact with the OW if he truely wanted to give our marriage a fair chance.
The love, concern and advice here is heartfelt and real. A lot of the people here have been through what we are going through and more and are here simply to help. Others are reaching out for help and still others are helping even when thier world seems to be crashing down all around them.
I have found this site to be a blessing and I thank God for leading me to it.
------------------
Love and Prayers
Nicole
