I was actually writing about the Love I wanted, not so much about the love I experienced with my now X husband. Here is another poem written after realizing what the first poem was about. The next poem was written one year later.
This Love
This love is cast
like dawn to dusk
waning twlight
Twinkle dust.
Memories fade and colors dim
where was i each evening's end
I wa alone each day upon day
Searching ever to
words to say
Speak my soul
to love's dear friend
never return and never send.
This Love is spent
Like sun to set
waning light's ray
forever rest.

***Here's to all the folks out there who are waking up to the fact that their marriage is not working and see the ominous work ahead. Press forward, a new day is dawning. This too shall pass. Upward and onward. God Bless.*******from ccat50
