God will giveth
and God will taketh away
My testimony proves
just like Job in the day.
Having all in the world
of our selfish desires
Can be taken away,
Just to lift us higher.
Testing all parts of our being
the fear, the doubt, the pain;
Material things mean nothing
Through God, there's much more to gain.
Without warning He moves mountains
and in anger He destroys them
Without the wisdom of His power
Human desire can never win.
He put the stars in the sky
Gives us love and taketh away our sin,
He does great things
and to His miracles, there is no end.
If you're going through trouble in your marriage or even separated, know that it doesn't mean it's over. Trust that God has a plan for your marriage to be better. Sometimes, God will remove us from one another just to make us grow if we're not growing while togther. Just trust Him

Faith,i I just want you to know your poem really touched my heart and hit home also. Have you ever heard someone say the right mate for you from God will bring you closer to God. Well let me tell ya, my wife has thrown me into the arms of the Lord as He allowed us to be seperated for a season. Ive never been more closer to God than now. Ive been seperated almost 2 years now and Im starting to believe in my heart that God will heal our marriage. It still looks impossible but i know my God is able.God Bless you, Mark

Lostpup,
Glad you could appreciate the poem that comes fromt he heart. Writing poems on my circumstances has truly helped to build my faith and I truly allow he Holy Spirit to lead me with my writing. I've always prayed that my writing would be used to help others build faith also in their marriages. I will pray for you to keep building that faith toward the reconciliation of your marriage. One thing I always advise people in our situation is to never focus on what seems impossible. Create your vision on how you want your marriage to be once it heals. This is where your real faith will begin. And in your vision, if what you saw is not what you see now, then what you see now is only temporary. God knows the desires of your heart. Read Habakkuk 2:2-4 and WAIT on the Lord to deliver.
God Bless you

Hi Faith, Thank you for the encouragement. Ive acually started to look at what God could do with my marriage in a positive way. I do have a vision. If my marriage can be saved, anyones can be saved. I want so much to encourage others not to give up. It helps me not to give up as i have tried many times and ya know God just wont let me. Ive finally after almost 2 years let God handle it. I tried so hard to reach my wife and try to fix things and i just made a bigger mess of things. I find such peace and strenth at times believing and knowing God will restore my marriage. I was a guitarist song writer so poems come naturally to me and they come from the heart with no sugar added,LOL. Ephesians 3:20 really inspires me lately. I will read Habakkuk. I need all the encouragement i can get. May God strenthen and Bless you also,Mark mauer@about.com
