your poem is sad but I can relate as Valentine's Day is when I ended things with OM. Confessed the following day. But know what? Spring came and there is a new blossom with my forever love..my H.
I pray spring comes to you, too.
------------------
Fresh Start

Freshstart, I'm happy your marriage worked out. Spring may come for me, but it won't be with my SBTX. She's "grown away" from us (translation: I bore her sh*tless). But it's nice to know that sometimes marriages do survive.

cv, there is still the hope of spring..even with autumn around the corner. The leaves will soon change and seem to die but as they do, the colors will dazzle us...the leaves drop and fall but in time, the tree is renewed with the fresh dewy green of spring.
You are entering a new stage of life...not an easy one by any means but you are NOT a boring person. Time for you now to work on loving you and finding wholeness so that in time you can love and trust again.
Hang in there, k?
FS

I put one post (entitled "I don't know what's worse" on the "Divorced/Divorcing" forum, but I have yet to tell my whole story. I don't know if I will at this point. I'm really at the point where I'm ready to go with Plan C--Giving Up and Moving On. I don't think I have the strength to keep hoping, and I'm not sure I'd want my SBTX back after she's done her "exploring," even if she wants to come back. Plan A and even B mean putting MY life on hold because both require you to keep hoping. I think I need to be selfish now instead.
