Seems we have forgotten how to dream. Not of the future or family, but really dream. As we did as children. I find myself missing the dreams of innocent, youthful wonder. I hope you like the poem. And, I hope you can go back to a simpler time for a brief minute.
jd
A place where Eagles, roam the sky
Where children sing, where angels fly
A heavenly place above the crowds
Sitting atop the cottony clouds
Lift your eyes, to a snowy peak
And see, what it is we all seek
Dream the dreams and let them rise
To the mountains old and wise

Climbers climb, it's time to try
To reach the mountains, to touch the sky
Take me there. Oh take me now
I must find my way today, Somehow
Where the moonlit ocean, meets the sky
Where fairies dance, Where dragons fly
This place in Dreams, I know so well
The sea beside, A perfect shell
Far across, The wondrous sea
Unicorns dance, in perfect harmony
Beyond the beaches, And white sand
A castle made, By a small child's hand

All dreamers wanted, come apply
Where the ocean, Meets the sky
Take me there. Oh take me now
I must find my way today, Somehow
Where the mountains, Touch the sky
All are brothers, And angels fly
No words of hate, No anger found
Children dancing, All around
Far beyond, Moonlights gleam
Hear me now, This is my dream
Imaginary rainbows, Light
Red and yellow, green and white
Listen now, The dream begins
To calm me down, Without, within
This is where, I seek and find
A place so special, A place all mine
Dream the dream, And hopes are high
Where mountains touch, The bright blue sky
Take me there, Yes take me now
I will find my way Today, Somehow
Now, listen close, Your dream awaits
You'll be so near, To heavens gates
Lay down your head, And close your eyes
In no time at all, You'll soar the skies
