So this is where the road divides
This is where our life collides
Letting go of all we once held dear
Dreams that at one time defined us
Leaving all those far behind us
Memories the only souveneir

Reminisce of nights spent closely
In my arms I think of mostly
All the times you said you'd never leave
Yet here I sit alone and lonely
Still you are my one and only
This is all I ever will believe

Some nights I sit outside and ponder
Feel my mind go free and wander
Think of all the years we should have known
Each time I try to grasp this tightly
Let me pose the thought politely
How could you just leave me here alone

Yet I'll wait for your returning
This fire in my bones still burning
Till the day that we will meet again
Once more with my arms around you
All the love I have surrounds you
When this comes, our new life will begin

Roman....your poetry is so inspiring and meaningful. I am the WS but I can't wait till God restores my marriage so I can put my arms around my wife again and start a new beginning. Just the thought of that brings happy tears to my eyes....

Thanks cajunky. My divorce is now pending as well. WS says she just doesn't feel like being married

I'm still praying as well. Hang in there bud.
