Its true I miss the little things that come from being home
Like digging in the flowerbeds or talking on our phone

Its true I miss the children with all their noise and song
There is no doubt about it, this is where I belong

Its true I miss the mowing though oftimes this is hard
And yes I also miss the times weve puttered in the yard

Its true I miss our bedroom, couch sleeping isn't great
As many times I've pondered, my eyes were wide awake

I'm sure you won't believe it, but yet this is a fact
Even without that crazy rat, I really missed the cat

So now I'm home and I should feel much better this is true
And yet my heart is heavy, sad, even a little blue

Because what I miss most of all is someone dear to me
Someone for whom to God I've cried while down on bended knee

So please remember as we build a life that is brand new
The person I miss most of all, is always, always you!

Diana, I love you!

Guardian and Cajunky:

Hi. My name is Kris and I'm new here. I read both your posts and they really touched me. I know you've both probabaly heard this hundreds of times but things will get better in time. It may not seem like it now but things will change and hopefully will be better

Best of luck to both of you.
