Sorry if this poem is a little dark. I wrote it stemming from the emotions of being ignored and the lack of communication between my H and I.

Your silence is so deafening
It reaches the depth of my soul
As my thoughts race much faster
Than what my heart is willing to hold

I hear the cries within
Like it's struggling to free itself
And my very own chains
Hold me down like a prisoner there

So I wait, wait for your words
Only to feel avoidance at all cost
And I find my own words drowning
For with words, I am at a loss

Free me! My heart shouts to you
Free me from the unbearable sound!
For your silence is sharper than knife
And my heart does not wish to be bound

As the time goes ever slowly
I wait for your words to explode
And still...silence is my enemy
As I struggle to walk down this road

Perhaps it's time to accept
That love dies from silence alone
No revival could bring it to life
Let my soul free itself on its own

amen. I am pretty much done asking questions that WH doesn't want to answer- making advances he seems to only tolerate- and I am leaving the room when ANY disrespectful words or the VOLUME of the words in themselves is disrespectful- I am a talking person- but I bite my tongue til it bleeds at least once a day as I will not beg (I use beg for lack of a better term!) I can't fix it alone. Someones tag on these boards says "Pain is a given-misery is not" I have that printed out and hanging up in big bold brite red ink- I am moving forward --heres to hoping WH decides to join me before its tooooooooooooooo late.
