There was a time
when our life was good
Then a time where
everything was misunderstood
All our thoughts of always
being together
Went to thoughts of hoping
things would get better
We knew it was over
when things went bad
Like two people in a crowd
not knowing the love they once had
My nights are lonely now
since you've been gone
As my tears fall and I wonder
where I now belong
Listening I hear the wind outside
and it plays such a sad song
So again I wonder
where it all went wrong
My fears tell me its over
never to be again for us
And the pain in my heart
will eventually ease I trust
There will always be times
I will feel I'll need you
But even those feelings
will eventually go too
But there is one thing
that I can truly say
I will still always love you
forever and one day.
