DO YOU KNOW…THAT PART OF MY SOUL IS STILL SHATTERED AND LOST?
THIS THING THAT WE’VE BEEN THROUGH HAD A TERRIBLE COST.
YOU SAY THAT YOU LOVE ME AND I KNOW THAT IT’S TRUE
BUT EACH TIME YOU SAY IT, I REMEMBER, YOU LOVE HER TOO.
I STILL CRY SO OFTEN BECAUSE I FEEL BAD
DO YOU KNOW…HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE TO STOP FEELING SO SAD?
SAD FOR THE LOST YEARS, WHEN I THOUGHT YOU WERE TRUE,
SAD FOR ALL THE LIES THAT WERE CREATED BY YOU.
MY BEST FRIEND, MY PARTNER, MY HUSBAND, MY SOUL
DO YOU KNOW…WILL I EVER AGAIN FEEL WHOLE?
I THINK OF HER SADNESS AND SOMETIMES YOUR OWN.
IS SHE STILL WAITING AND WONDERING IF YOU WILL JUST PHONE?
DOES SHE WATCH FOR YOU DAILY, TO SEE YOU GO BY?
IS SHE READY TO SAY IT’S OVER OR WILL SHE CONTINUE TO TRY

DO YOU KNOW…IF YOU WILL FIND YOURSELF STOPPING TO SEE HER SOME DAY?
DO YOU KNOW…THAT I HAVE TO TRUST YOU-WHAT ELSE CAN I DO?
I CAN’T EVEN IMAGINE WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE IF WE WERE THROUGH.
MY DAYS WOULD BE EMPTY, BARREN AND SAD
I WOULD DREAM FOREVER OF ALL THAT WE HAD.
BUT OUR LIFE WOULD HOLD PROMISE—I KNOW IN MY HEART.
WE WILL TURN OUR BACKS TO EACH OTHER AND SADLY DEPART.
DO YOU KNOW…AND CAN YOU SAY,
YOU ARE TRULY WHERE YOU WANT TO BE, FOR THE REST OF YOUR DAYS?
DO YOU KNOW…CAN YOU PUT THOUGHTS OF HER BEHIND?

That was good Angel. Can't say that I enjoyed it though since that would mean I enjoyed your pain. But I felt your pain in it and I am so sorry that you are going through this. I hope being here is helping I know it is for me.

Very Poetic, and sensible. I hope that you can find the help you need to endure these times. I turned to God in Prayer, not necessarily asking to save my marriage, but to open my eyes to the truth, and be able to accept what I need to do and to do it. These are lonely times, but it helps to be able to talk with others who are sharing this type of pain. I wish you the best.
