Because I Cry
Just because I cry
doesn't mean I'm insane
A lot has been lost
never to be regained
It's ok to cry
about things that I miss
The morning hugs
and the night time kiss
It's ok to cry
when I look at the past
Just keeping in mind
the present is blessed
Crying doesn't mean
I've lost all reality
It means my heart
is full of vitality
"What if's"
can kill the innocent heart
it's the survivors
who can stop the thought
But don't worry
when you see a tear fall from my face
I'm not sickened
but could use your embrace
Look at me
and know,
it's just memories
flooding my soul
