Write About Love

To write my Love or say it to
The one you care most for
A blessing God gave but just a few
But used so by many more.

To Say “I Love You” is easy to do
But to write the poem within
Is hard to do when times are good
So easy when faced with sin.

The sin of pain, the sin of grief
The sin of loss so dear
The sin we face a lifetime told
The sin we do most fear.

We do write poem in times of good
But only when they’re about love
We write of love is mostly so
The loss or given from above.

I write these poems when I feel sad
I write when I am glad.
But mostly so when Love is strong
Not only when I am mad.

I explain my feelings a poetic way
Since words do not explain
The rhythm of life the melody within
This balance that keeps us sane.

You see my Love the poems do come
From sadness and also from Love
They flow from heart and soul within
And carried on wings of doves.

I proclaimed my Love for you long ago
I affirmed it during this time
During the hurt and pain given me
Should show that you’re still mine!
