Thank God for this prayer forum. I can't sleep tonight from feeling overwhelmed.<P>Please pray that we will have strength to endure all that has happened to us. We took the medicine for scabies that has plagued us and hope it's over. We're not sure. Can't worry about that now because of other things. <P>My son sprained his ankle this week and then rehurt it tonight.<P>My husband is in severe back pain. It's been 6 days, he's been to the chiropractor twice, and he's now so bad that we took him to the doctor today and had x-rays done and won't know until Monday. The Vicodin generic we got hasn't even touched the pain. He was so bad tonight that he fell to the floor and cried in front of the kids and eventually crawled back to our room.<P>Later I hear my daughter screaming, "Oh my God, Oh my God." I thought she was so upset about his pain but found out that she has lice again, even though she has been very careful at school because she is so sick of getting it once a year at school. She has no choice but to ride an overcrowded bus to school. <P>I had to call off work tomorrow to try and tackle the whole house and laundry and heads of all my kids. You wouldn't believe how many hours that can take. On top of it, I have a sore lymph node in my neck and feel I'm about to get sick.<P>We also just had car trouble that cost over $l00. We spend money on plane tickets to go to an early Thanksgiving with family we haven't seen in years, and it's highly unlikely now that we can go and will waste the money on that.<P>What's next???? Please pray for me since I always suffer from anxiety, and I just can't sleep tonight. <P>Love to you all,<BR>Cheryl

I will pray for you tonight. You are going through a great ordeal. You think how can all of this happen to one family. Things seem rough right now, but they will get better. I will pray for you so have a good nights sleep and don't worry.

Thank you for your prayers. Turns out her lice was in the early stages and not very bad, and none of the others have it. Shouldn't take too long to get rid of it. (Fingers crossed.) Sure don't look forward to spending 8 hours on my feet today and going home to about 3-4 hours on her hair. Had to whack off her hair to about shoulder length and can't get it trimmed up for a while, poor kid. I had to basically spend all my time cleaning the house and her head and the laundry instead of being with him yesterday. Had to do frequent, quick checks on him. Two major trials at once is just too much on anyone.<P>So far H is still in tons of pain. At least the kids will be home with him today while I'm gone, and the oldest can drive. (I have to work for our insurance since he's self-employed.) <P>I really appreciate the prayers of all the lurkers, because I know there are people praying that don't respond, and I do appreciate that. It's hard to wake up during the night to the sound of your H crying, and that's just not like him. He's depressed he'll never walk again, and he's embarassed to pee in a pan for me. I know he'll never forget how much I cared for him when he needed me most. (He still doesn't blame the golf game.)
