I am just beginning the process of healing through prayer, but my natural continually over-rides my spiritual and prevents me from "feeling" like I am even worthy of healing and deliverance. I have created a whole lot of pain for my wife, me and my family. I need prayer and support. Please pray also for my wifes' healing. No one ever really weighs the consequences or the pain, or we wouldn't have a need for a support line like this. I really need a friend, my wife has closed me out and I am stuck in Bosnia. We still communicate, but there is an empty feeling to starting as friends again. Please help.

A wise person recently told me that the experience we are going through is much like having an arm amputated and that the healing is a long process. There will be "phantom"pain afterwards. I prayed for you immediately after I read your prayer request and again last night. Your wife is blessed that you want to work things out and keep your family together. My sister and I are both going through what your wife is experiencing only our husbands have shown no desire to work things out. Pray for us if you think about it.Don't give up.Dr.Conways books were also helpful to us.LJT

Thank you so much for the encouragement. I have been in nothing but pain, I cannot imagine the pain that my wife or you and your sister feels. I hurt to think that I would be he cause of so much hurt. I will pray for you too. I get up every morning, go for a run or lift weights, shower and then head off to the chapel for some serious time with God on my knees praying and crying. We also have prayer meetings every tuesday and thursday at 1200. I will put in a prayer request for you two. I know that God is the healer of the deepest pain. He has pulled me up out of some very seriously troubled times in my life, and He will do it again. I know He will do it for you if we pray. He is a compasionate God that listens. Abraham, in hearing that God was going to destroy Sodom and Gamorrah, prayed that God would spare the city for the sake of his nephew Lot. He actually pleaded with God and God listened. I know that if we make our requests known to Hime, He will listen. Read the Story, and do not do what Lot's wife did by looking back. Keep straight ahead, pressing on for the prize that God has set aside for us.
