Feels like healing in slow motion. It's been 3 weeks since he's hurt his back, 2 weeks since he's been confined to bed.
He is now able to lay on his side in bed, not just his back. He can walk into the kitchen on crutches (12 steps) but can barely make it back into bed. It takes all his energy and extremely painful. Still can't sit up.
Appreciate your prayers because until he is healed he cannot return to church or begin counseling (or work.) We're trying to heal without surgery. The chiropractor is about to talk to an orthopedic surgeon about an MRI and whatever else they can do for him.
Will let you know when things turn around. Thanks. -- Cheryl

My prayers go out to you and your husband. It must be hard when there is added stress to an already difficult situation.
I pray for physical and emotional healing in your husband and a renewed faith in God and reliance on Him(not by our strength but by His are things done).
I pray for emotional healing in you. That God will give you the stength and grace to work on your marriage even if at times it seems like it isn't helping.
God bless you both. Love and Prayers
------------------
I am holding my heart out to you and ask only that you receive it and give me yours in return.
Nicole

Back surgeon is sure he has a ruptured disc and will undergo an open-sided MRI probably next week. So happy, though, with his progress so far. He's now able to sit and somewhat walk around the house.
Something is wrong with the system when you have to get better in order to be able to go get help.
