It's very early (or should I say late) and I've got to get up in a few hours but I just needed to post this & beg, plead, request all of your prayers at this time. To make this short (I will expound later) I was the person in the wrong. My wife and I have been separated for almost 15 months. We have two beautiful children (one is 3 1/2; one is 11 mos). I am broken and my ONLY desire is to have my wife and family back. I've tried to explain this to her before but it mostly always just ended up with her mad at me and me leaving their new residence in tears. The last month or so there have not been any times where I've gotten her upset with me. I'm trying to be kind and considerate and to do what is right. I truly am sorry and I honestly want my wife and family back. And, if you were wondering, no I do not have any contact with the other person. Only God can change her heart. The heart will be easy someone told me not too long ago. It's the head that is the hardest part to change. She is set on divorce and had some information mailed to me last week from a mediator. She will not do any counseling. So, I didn't know what else to do but ask for prayer from some Godly people. Thank you.
Bob
[This message has been edited by RJK_63 (edited December 04, 1999).]

I will be praying for you, your wife and family. It is God's desire for reconciliation. Keep praying yourself, and pray for the Lord to change YOU, to mold you into the kind of husband and father He wants you to be. Ask Him to forgive you and make your heart clean. Then, watch the miracles happen. Keep faith, and pray pray pray. God bless you and know that there will be many that will pray for your marriage. It is so wonderful that you have admitted what you did wrong and want to reconcile. Your wife must be very deeply hurt, but don't despair, God will heal her hurt.

AW, Thanks for the encouragement. I just sent the web page to my wife to read as well. Not that she needs it but hopefully she can see that by me doing step 3 that steps 4-6 have happened as well. Thank you for praying. We really need it. I would give anything to start over again.
Bob

Bob, let me just say this and please receive this in love, God cannot change anyones heart. That is not biblical. And that is the reason a lot of people end up losing faith in God,because they've prayed for Him to do something He has never said he will do. A person has to will in their heart to change first, then God will increase the desire. Every man's and women's heart is naturally wicked, but it is because of God's love and our will to change that we can begin to gain the heart of God, and inflict self change. I will e-mail you with some scriptures later, but just know you will be in my prayers. But you keep on praying, God will honor your faithfullness. But also aside from prayers, you gotta be living right...........
