I am doing ok but thought it couldn't hurt to ask for extra prayers. My H and I fought really bad yesterday. I won't see him again until the weekend. Please pray this week that I will be strong enough to be kinder to him, courageous enough to be able to see him without falling apart, and wise enough to choose my words carefully. Also sneak in a little extra one for my husband so that he can overcome his alcohol addiction and live a healthy, sober life with his family.
Thanks and God bless.

Mitzi,
You are on my prayer list every day. I so understand what you're going though. I could wake up tomorrow and be right back in the same boat, alcoholics are so unpredictable.
Dear Lord, I lift Mitzi up to you, please heal her broken heart. Give her comfort dear God during this trial she is in. Give her strength to get through each day, and help her to focus on You and Your perfect will for her life. Give her peace in her heart, surround her with the Holy Spirit for protection from the evil one. Guide her in her every thought, word and action. Show her the path you want her to take dear Lord. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Mitzi,
As I told AW in her post, I understand all too well what the addiction of alcohol can do
to a family. My brother has been in recovery for over two years now. I continue to pray for him that he remains in recovery and draws closer to God. I will pray for you and your H to find the grace of God and for him to heal your H's addiction.
Dear Father
I come to you today to ask you to heal this mans addiction and to cast out the demon of alcohol. Put your hands on Mitzi and her husband and heal this marriage that Satan has tried to destroy. I know that you have the power to do this. And I believe that you can with all my heart. Please help Mitzi through this as she is hurting so much. And please give her husband the strength to fight the evil that is surrounding and influencing him. He needs you now as much as Mitzi does.
Please kick Satan out of their live as he has no authority over them. Only you do, Dear Father. Please be with them and give them both strength. Live in their hearts and in their lives. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
