So many times I get caught up in my own problems that I forget that there are other people who are going through huge trials of their own. We are told by God to pray for all of our needs but to also pray for our brothers and sisters. This calls to mind a teacher that works in the school district where I work. She is in her 50s and currently living her last days on earth. She is dying of cancer. She has been told that she only has a couple weeks to live. Her son was scheduled to get married in July but they changed their plans and got married last weekend so that she could see her son get married. She says that she is not afraid of dying but that she feels for her family who will be left with the pain and sorrow of her untimely death. Her courage is amazing to me. I have to remember as I'm praying for the restoration of my marriage that I need to also give thanks to God for all of His blessings in my life. My kids, their health, my health, my house, food to eat, a good job. The list goes on. Let us not forget all of these blessings during our trials. Lord, I ask that you would be with this woman's family as they are coping with impending death. I pray that you would give them your comfort and strength to get them through this incredibly hard time. Lord, I also thank you for all of the blessings in my life. You have blessed me with so much and I praise you for your goodness. IJN Amen

MMA,
I applaud you for taking the time to remember friends in need. That is far worse than all the trials we are going through, you are right. I also give thanks to God for all the good He has given us and pray that He give your friend and family the strength they need to accept His will through these rough times. IJN, Amen
You are a good person. Bless you!
[This message has been edited by Pookie14 (edited March 17, 2000).]
