We have been separated for a month and a half. I pray that one of our hearts change. DH is no longer in love with me and doesn't think he wants to be married any longer. Our baby is just a year and half. I am trying to be strong. I love this man with all my heart. Please pray for my family.

Dear Parc,
I'm sorry to hear your situation. You, your husband and baby are in my prayers.
Please give us a little more information on what happend to cause the separation, how long have you been married, etc.
I have been married almost 7 years, my H told me in Jan he wasn't in-love with me, and wanted to leave, (he did) for 15 days. He returned. WE COMMUNICATE NOW! He loves me and is in love with me [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com].... Feel free to read my old posts, March 14th around there in 'Women's Bible Study' forum!
God doesn't like divorce, pray and continue praying. Have you read, Power of A Praying Wife, by Stormie? and His Needs Her Needs, by Dr. Harley? They are great books!
Keep trying, keep praying!
Pookie [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] ~

Pookie,
Thank you for your response and prayers. We met in college, dated for 5 years and have been married almost 9.
My husband is a severe workaholic who lives and breathes for his work. He started his own company almost 3 years ago and it has become his mistress. He has always had a gift for using work as a distraction. He has even admitted that he is burying himself in his work so that he won't have to feel the pain of the situation.
So much has happened that I don't even know where to start. I will try to be brief. Over the past several years we have dealt with miscarriage, the birth/death of our daughter when I was 5 months pregnant, followed by the birth of our son. I was on strict bedrest for 6 months and my parents moved in to take care of me. They stayed until our son was almost 2 months old.
After our son was born I had expectations that DH would slow down and we would be a family. Instead it just got worse. I was breastfeeding and moved out of our bedroom so as not to disturb DH. So for the past year we've been emotionally separated and living at opposite ends of the house.
I knew that something was seriously wrong back in October but when I tried to talk to DH he didn't really want to go into details. He asked for some time to work things out. I didn't know what that meant but said ok. He left me with the impression that my (significant) weight gain was a big part of our problem. The subject of my weight was too painful for me to discuss further. In January I entered individual counseling to work on my own issues.
At the end of January as I was feeling good about myself I asked DH if he was happy and that was the beginning of the road to separation. He admitted that he wasn't but asked for some more time to work it out. He then entered individual counseling. I tried to get him to agree to marriage counseling but he didn't think that communication was our problem and refused. He said that we had "grown apart, didn't laugh anymore and didn't have much in common or to talk about." After I pushed him for more information he told me that he was "bored with our marriage" and "didn't love me anymore." I was completely devastated.
Within a couple of weeks he started to talk about a separation but wanted some time to decide. After a week I couldn't take it anymore and left him a voice mail asking him to consider moving out the next day, on Saturday. He drove home to talk to me (I was out) and took some of his stuff. He has been living in an apartment about a mile from here for the past six weeks.

Dear Lord, I lift up parc to You, asking for Your divine intervention in her marriage, her life, and her husband's life. Thank You Lord, for speaking to her heart. Please show parc the path to You. Help her, Father, to lay her husband at the foot of the cross. Please surround her with your love, and fill her heart with your peace, the peace that passes all understanding. I pray that You will continue to speak loudly to her husband, giving him no rest and no peace of mind until he repents, goes home, and becomes the husband and father You have always intended him to be. Lord, please soften parc's husband's heart, filling his heart, mind, and soul with loving thoughts of her, his wife. Sow the seeds of discord between parc's husband and the OW. I pray for Your will to be done in their lives, and thank You Lord, for showing them Your will. IJN I pray, AMEN.
