I can't believe i am back so soon. Yesterday I posted under URGENT..PRAYER NEEDED. and i was happy to reprt that God had answered a small prayer. Last night, after H left the ouse again for a while, he returned with pictures of his trip and immediately wanted to share them with me. I was extatic! However, then he clled his sister, who was actually being nice to me for a change, and i overheard comments about leaving. And as he hung up the phone he said he wanted me to know she stands up for me alot. i just said that was nice to know. i didn't want to take the bait. Then when we were getting ready for bed, he asked if I had read the divorce papers he asked me to read. I said I had not...in fact hadn't even seen them. I went to write in my baby's journal with a very heavy heart. i prayed again before I went to bed. H actually was somewhat more affectionate, and later in the night initiated lovemaking...though there was still no kissing, still no talk afterward. But this time he allowed me to hold him almost the rest of the night. I praised God all night for that opportunity, but at the same time know that more prayer is needed quickly to try to remove these thoughts of divorce from his heart and mind. He knows his whole family is against this. I don't think I am strong enough to even discuss it. I am so heartbroken. I pray that he will agree to stay in the house..if in the guest room...until the baby is born, and will agree to counseling. i pray God gives me the strength and the right words to convince H that this is the best plan. Please pray with me today. I have always heard that when God starts to work in someone's life , Satan doubles his efforts. Help me pray for God's power and might to shine through and defeat these horrible thoughts and plans of my H.
Kim

EmptyInside, keep praising the Lord, thanking Him for answering your prayers, all day every day. Whenever you think of your husband or baby, send up a praise to the Lord. Thank Him for softening your husband's heart, for working in his life. I will be praying for you and your husband. God bless you, stay focused on Jesus.
AW

Kim,
I agree with AW, there is a song that was done by Keith Green, it is very powerful called When I hear the praises start.
There is a line in it that says, "When I hear the praises start, My child, I want to rain upon you, blessings that will fill your heart," ect.

No matter what happens, no matter what it looks like keep praising God for the restoration of your marriage.
Remember, we walk by faith not by sight. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
I'm praying, AW is praying, and all of us are praising God together. We believe we recieve when we pray. And we have what we confess we have, even if we don't see it with our eyes we see it with our hearts by faith.
------------------
Just call me - Deb
------------------------
The only day I can do anything about is today, yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not yet mine.
Hepatitis C, educate yourself ! http://hepatitis-central.com/
