I will join you in prayer for your husband.
Dear Father,
I lift up this husband who turned back to drinking after such a long time. I pray that he would find it so disgusting and awful that he would immediately turn away from it. May he turn directly to you, Lord, in his search for happiness. I pray you would strengthen him as he struggles with this addiction. Please give this wife the knowledge and patience she needs to help her husband. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Lor548, I am so sorry this is happening to you and your husband! I can certainly empathize as my husband was sober for 5 years, and has now been back drinking for 8 years. I will be praying for you both.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us the opportunity to pray for Lor548 and her husband. Father, you have seen her husband's ways, and You will heal him. Our faith is in You, for with God nothing is impossible. Lord, I pray that You will fill lor548's husband's heart with conviction, bringing him to repentance. Please deliver him from his addiction to alcohol, releasing the spirit of sobriety within him. Lord, I pray that you will use these circumstances to Your good and Your glory. I ask in Jesus' name that each and every time her husband thinks about drinking he becomes wretchedly sick, and the stench of a pig sty surrounds him. Let him see what the lure of alcohol is, a ploy by the enemy. Please place a hedge of thorns around him, protecting him from the enemy. thank You Lord, we praise You. All glory is Yours Lord. IJN AMEN
