Dear MHW,<P>I know this kind of pain, as I've been through it with my wife. After 20 years of marriage (and 4 kids) she had an affair with the chiropractor she was working for - it was the most horrible nightmare. <P>At the time, she said she didn't want to come back even if she didn't stay with him.<BR>That was a year ago - (I found out on July 15th last summer, it had been going on for 7 months before that.) <P>It ended at that time - she moved out for a couple of weeks and the prayers were going up quite heavily.<BR>Well, we started our healing process in August and we renewed our wedding vows on March 22 (our 20th anniversary) and we are still growing closer. I too feel the pain and suffering of a twenty year life and home being suddenly in question. I do know now that this trial is my opportunity to make a life change that will enable me to live the rest of my life in a fulfilling manner. When I forst posted, the name "Changed Man" came to me automatically. The changes are ongoing and profound to say the least.<P>I will pray for you and all who are here. Without prayer and God's help I truly believe our family would not still be under one roof today. We have a long way to go before we can even say we we have a long way to go. I am thankful everyday despite what would seem to many as a horrible situation.<P>God bless all of us including our spouses and families.
