My dearest and oldest friend is struggling in her marriage. She and her husband have been married almost 6 years and have not been intimate for the last 4.5. Her husband is very controlling and insists that her weight is what has destroyed his desire for her. She has put on a little weight since they got married but not much.
Their conflicts have gotten to the point that she has given up and gone into withdrawal. She is tired of trying and being hurt and it waiting for him to finish school (which she is paying for) so he will either leave on his own or she will kick him out.
I spoke to her yesterday and she doesn't want to hear about anything that she could do to restore her marriage. She feels she has done it all.
It makes me so sad to hear her pain over this. Please pray for my friend, L, and her husband, H, that God will show them the path they need to follow.
agape,
Jodi

I will be praying for your friend to have hope that God can change her husband and restore their marriage. I will pray her husband will find the Lord and have a change of heart and fall in love with his wife again. I will pray that God will help you to comfort your friend and let her listen to what you have to say.
