Members please pray for my new marriage. I want our relationship and home to be full of God's word. We both go to church, but i have more of a personal relationship with the Lord. My H is a wonderful person, i just need some prayers that the lord will soften his heart. I feel like he thinks if he gets to close to the lord that he will have to stop doing things that aren't exactly right. He is a ball player and he is used to the drinking and foul language and it is hard to break those habbits. I have had somewhat of the party lifestyle too, but i pray to the Lord that he will take those desires away from me. I want to be the person he wants me to be. We both have familes that are disfunctional. My mom left my dad due to alcohol, and his father abuses his mother, and i don't want that for us. if we have the Lord by our side we always be together. please just pray that we will both keep God in our lives and that he won't be embarrassed to be a Christian in front of his friends. I think my biggest prayer would be that all of our friends and family would realize they need the Lord in their lives so that there wouldn't be so much pressure. Life is hard. Thanks for your prayers!
